6. Know What Suits You
If your posture is good and legs are stretchable and you can point your toes, go for the classical ballet rather than hiphop. While researching about the dances, make sure you study the body movements different dance forms require and check if your body will be able to do them. However, it should also be remembered that even though your body may not seem flexible initially, it can develop flexibility with practice.
7. What will You Need for Practice?
First of all, you’ll need an open space which should have hard and strong flooring and where making some noise won’t be a problem. Then you’ll need a source of music like your phone, MP3 player etc. And if you are learning ball dance, you’ll need a partner.
Once you make all these basic preparations, you can start learning and practicing and enjoy watching your dancing skills improving.
